Day 01 –Proceed to your Negombo lodging and relax with your loved ones
Day 02 – Go on a town tour of Negombo and see the beautiful beaches and vibrant religious structures. Visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, a wonderful location to witness infant elephants that have been left without parents. The next day, make your way to Sigiriya.
Day 03 – Climb Sigiriya Rock, the most popular tourist destination in Sri Lanka, first thing in the morning. Reputable large lion paws guard the stairs leading to the summit, which formerly housed the monarch’s palace. Explore the afternoon town of Polonnaruwa to see the ancient remnants of the island’s fascinating past.
Day 04 – Visit Anuradhapura, the nation’s oldest historic city. During its 1000-year history, the country had 117 monarch’s all of whom built irrigation systems, beautiful gardens, and Buddhist monasteries. In the afternoon, enjoy an exhilarating jeep safari through Minneriya National Park, the location of the world’s largest seasonal elephant gathering.
Day 05 – Proceed to Kandy and discover the UNESCO-listed two-thousand-year-old Dambulla cave temple. The five caverns here have artwork spanning centuries adorning their ceilings and walls. Go on an intriguing tour of Matale’s Spice Garden afterwards.
Day 06 – Explore the vibrant city of Kandy, which offers great shopping opportunities. Tour the city. Stores sell a variety of Sri Lankan-specific goods such as silk, wood carvings, diamonds, and batiks. Take in a cultural show after exploring the Peradeniya Botanical Gardens, and then proceed to the Holy Temple of the Tooth Relic.
Day 07 – You may unwind and take in the breathtaking views of the endless green tea fields as you get closer to Nuwara Eliya, a hill country located 1800 meters above sea level. Along the way, stop to see the stunning Ramboda Falls and a tea factory. You can purchase various types of tea when you visit the production facility. After that, explore the city of Nuwara Eliya.
Day 08 – Take a hike in the well-liked Horton Plains, one of the World Heritage Sites in Sri Lanka. View the primary draws such as World’s End and Baker’s Falls. See the other well-known locations in Nuwara Eliya.
Day 09 – This morning, board a scenic train bound for Ella, which will provide panoramic views of tea plantations, waterfalls, reservoirs, and an unending amount of tunnels.
Day 10- Experience a Jeep Safari at Yala National Park, the most popular tourist destination. See the Asian elephants roaming freely in the wild and the leopards of Sri Lanka.
Day 11, 12, & 13 – Explore the magnificent Dutch Fort in Galle early in the morning. It is thought to be the best-preserved colonial fortress in Asia. The island’s oldest breadfruit tree can be found there as well. The Madu River Boat ride offers a close-up view of the wetland ecosystem. A conservation effort to save the endangered young turtles includes a visit to the turtle hatchery. To make memories, stroll along the sandy Galle beach with your loved ones. Enjoy an exhilarating day of water sports in the Bentota River on your last day in Galle.
Day 14 – Return to Colombo for a city tour, exploring sites like the Gangaramaya Temple, the Old Parliament, and Galle Face Green, before your departure.
