Day 01 – Begin your journey with a drive from Colombo to Kandy, stopping at Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage to observe the playful elephants. Afterwards, explore the lush Royal Botanical Gardens before visiting the sacred Temple of the Tooth. Enjoy the serene evening atmosphere as you bid farewell to Kandy.
Day 02 – Take a scenic train ride from Kandy to Nanu Oya, where you’ll be treated to breathtaking views of Sri Lanka’s highlands. In Nuwara Eliya, visit a tea farm to witness the intricate process of tea making. Later, enjoy a peaceful boat ride on Gregory Lake, surrounded by mountain views. Overnight in Nuwara Eliya.
Day 03 – While on your way to Sigiriya, take a trip to the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. Make amazing memories with your partner while interacting with the adorable and kind baby elephants.
Day 04 – Rise early for a hike to Little Adam’s Peak, where you’ll be rewarded with panoramic views of Ella. Next, visit the iconic Nine Arch Bridge, an architectural marvel nestled in the jungle. Return to Ella for a tranquil evening, soaking in the peaceful surroundings.
Day 05 – En route from Ella to Yala, stop at the stunning Ravana Waterfall for a refreshing break. Continue to Yala National Park, where you’ll embark on an exciting Jeep safari to explore the park’s diverse wildlife. Spend the night in Yala, immersed in nature’s beauty.
Day 06 –Drive from Yala to Mirissa, a tranquil coastal town on Sri Lanka’s southern tip. Upon arrival, relax on the pristine beaches and enjoy the laid-back atmosphere. Spend the afternoon unwinding by the sea, perhaps indulging in fresh seafood, before enjoying a stunning sunset over the Indian Ocean.
Day 07 – Start the day with a thrilling whale-watching excursion in Mirissa, where you can spot majestic blue whales and playful dolphins. Afterwards, take a scenic train ride to Bentota, where you can enjoy a leisurely boat ride through the Madu River and visit the Turtle Hatchery. Unwind in Bentota for the evening, soaking up the peaceful coastal vibe.
Day 08 –Travel to Colombo by train, experiencing the local sights and sounds along the way. Once in the city, explore its bustling streets, iconic landmarks, and vibrant cultural attractions. Spend your last evening in Colombo, enjoying the lively atmosphere of Sri Lanka’s capital.
